A Maryland dentist was planning a trip to Portugal to attend a conference, and he thought it might be nice to stop by Granada, Spain on the way to take in the sights. So he booked a flight with British Airways, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , via London , instead. So of course, the dentist is suing BA for the error.
Let's call the whole thing off.

Personally, I'd have made the most of it.

Not that I am saying the airline is right... But this is going to likely end poorly for the inattentive dentist. "Failing to notice" is not a good legal defense I am pretty sure. Not to mention, all the e-tickets I bought I can check online in seconds or call the airline back with the confirmation number to check the times and destinations...

Airport codes. Always gotta check the codes. I was leaving Beijing a few years ago, and watched the counter employee slap a tag for Bolivia on my bag. Different by one letter. I'm glad I saw it.

The dentist says his itinerary didn't have airport codes on it. I find that hard to believe, but I'm sure it said Grenada , he just didn't pay attention. I'm not saying BA didn't screw up, but he should have caught it.
